On September 18-19, 2024 we will host Ruth Ben-Ghiat, Professor of History and Italian Studies at New York University and author of Strongmen: Mussolini to the Present, will discuss the history of Italian fascism and lessons for democracies in the current world. She will be in conversation with faculty members from the Department of History and the Department of World Languages and Cultures.
The King's English Book Shop will host a book signing event with Ben-Ghiat following her free public lecture at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Dumke Auditorium.
