The craft of quilt-making went from a practical necessity to a way to earn money and then a way to express creative talents and community identity. Come learn how quilt-making was used as a survival mechanism and a way to teach younger generations necessary skills for the future.

Museum hours: Daily 10am-5pm, closed Wednesday and Sunday

This exhibit accompanies the Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the Silver Reef Museum.
