Crossroads Utah Tour Website: Click Here

Wild horses and burros are Western icons, but their place in rural and wild landscapes is contentious. Join us to learn about wild horses on public land and how horse camp helps educate urban youth's perspectives of “healthy lands, healthy horses.” Sponsored by USU Extension. Snacks. Door Prizes.

This event accompanies Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program that provokes fresh thinking and sparks conversations about the future and sustainability of rural communities. Crossroads offers small towns a chance to look at their own paths over the past century – to highlight changes that affected their fortunes, explore how they have adapted, and think about what's next.

Crossroads: Change in Rural America is a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with Utah State University Eastern. For more information, see www.utahhumanities.org.
