Crossroads Local Exhibit | Crossing the Green: Community at a Crossroads?

Jun 29–Dec 31, 2024, 10:00 am

Crossing the Green: Community at a Crossroads? is a local companion exhibit to Crossroads that inspires thought and conversation on the challenges and opportunities rural residents face. Green River continuously shifts, and this harsh landscape demands resilience, adaptability, and perseverance. As you explore the past for insight into the present, consider: What is the Future of Green River?

This event is part of the programming for the Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the John Wesley Powell River History Museum. For more information, see www.utahhumanities.org or https://johnwesleypowell.com/

Crossroads will be at John Wesley Powell River History Museum from June 29 to August 18, 2024. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm. Exhibit is free with museum admission. Green River residents and members are always free.
