Venture in City of South Salt Lake

In the fall of 2014, we began a new partnership with Westminster College to offer the Venture Course in the City of South Salt Lake. Venture is part of “Promise South Salt Lake,” a strategy that brings together many partners to help “everyone have the opportunity to succeed.” 

Westminster College has several programs with South Salt Lake, including a Writing Center at the Scott School where residents can get help with writing of all kinds.

This fall, the Venture Course, also at the Scott School, offers residents living on low incomes a chance to explore the humanities with college faculty and to reach their goals of increasing their education.

Utah Humanities welcomes this partnership that extends the Venture Course, now in its tenth year, into a new community.
