Utah is an urban place with a rural heart. To understand the story of change in rural Utah requires an appreciation for the tension between the ideals and realities of rural life.
To explore these ideas, Utah Humanities is touring Crossroads: Change in Rural America to eight Utah communities from September 2023 to December 2024. Community organizations are partnering with us to host the Smithsonian exhibition and connect their local stories through companion exhibits and programming.
Check out the schedule and activities at each location to learn how you can participate!
