Drop-in Family Activity | Water & Watercolor Landscapes with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts
Jul 14, 2022, 1:00 pm
Join Utah Museum of Fine Arts education curators to get inspired by Utah's amazing scenery, then try your hand at painting landscapes and waterscapes that tell your water story. We will use water from natural sources, learn to make watercolors using materials found in our kitchens, and learn how salt and water react to make special effects on our paintings.
This event accompanies H2O Today, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition touring Utah in partnership with Utah Humanities and Canyon Country Discovery Center. The tour is part of Think Water Utah, a statewide collaboration and conversation on the critical topic of water presented by Utah Humanities and its partners.
