Tales at Treehouse: Educator Open House with Daniel Miyares

Teachers, librarians, and parents are invited to meet the award-winning children’s book illustrator and author of dozens of books like Float, Bring Me a Rock, and Hope at Sea: An Adventure Story. Daniel will also talk about his newest publication, a graphic novel titled How to Say Good-bye in Cuban. Daniel will share ideas on how to encourage children to get excited about reading and how to arm children with strong visual literacy skills. Copies of Daniel’s books will be for sale.
