Sara moved to Utah in 2000 with plans to stay only a couple of years. Twenty-four years later, she’s still here and happy to call it home. She has her degree in Organizational Communication from San Francisco State University and is thrilled to join the mission of UH. In her other life, Sara is the author of ten books for young readers.
On April 2, our NEH funding was terminated by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This loss threatens our ability to serve Utah communities, eliminating programs and partnerships that are essential to our cultural infrastructure. We are no longer accepting grant or sponsorship applications, and we’re doing everything we can to continue to offer our remaining programs.
