Paul joined Squire in 1996 shortly before receiving a master of accountancy degree from Brigham Young University in December 1996. Paul’s primary area of emphasis is providing audit and related services for nonprofit organizations. Squire serves nonprofit organizations with local, national, and international missions. Nonprofit organizations currently served include SCERA, Utah Metropolitan Ballet, Timpanogos Arts Foundation, Springville Museum of Art, membership societies, Utah charter schools, school district foundations, local chapters of United Way, community health centers, and international aid organizations. Paul is also the partner supervising Squire’s Form 990 preparation team.

Paul is a member of the Utah Nonprofit Association (UNA) and the AICPA’s Not-For-Profit Section. Paul is one of the few accountants to have completed the AICPA’s Not-for-Profit Certificate I and is working towards completion of the Certificate II designation. Paul was recently appointed as a board member and treasurer of Affirmation: LGBTQ Mormons, Family & Friends. Paul is married to an extremely talented woman who owns her own online business and is a cook/baker extraordinaire. Together we have adopted and are raising three children (Nathan – 21, Ilene – 18, Hallie – 15). We love to travel and learn about different cultures. As a family or as a couple we have traveled to Belgium, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Israel, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. (Term 2 ends 2025)
