Ogden
Kathryn earned a BA in English from UCLA and a PhD in History from the University of Utah. She has taught classes in Art History, US history, Women's Studies, and the history of the American West for USU, U of U, and WSU where she is a full professor. She has been involved in public humanities programs such as lectures, reading/discussions, oral history projects, museum exhibits, and evaluations. She serves on several community boards for historic preservation, folklore, and arts education. She was the 2007 Utah Humanities "Distinguished Scholar" for her work with the Museum on Main Street's traveling exhibit "Between Fences." She has also served on 3 NEH review panels: American History and Studies, Public Programming, and Historic Houses and Sites. (Term 2 ends 2025)
