A self-employed cultural resources management consultant, Don recently retired as the lead archaeologist for the Bureau of Land Management at the Moab Field Office, Moab, Utah. His prior employment was as the Museum Curator for the Anasazi State Park Museum in Boulder, Utah. He worked for four years as an archaeology technician for the Uinta National Forest, and was also employed for five years as a research assistant and computer specialist in the Anthropology Department at Brigham Young University and the Museum of Peoples and Cultures. In January 2018 his term expired as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Moab. Prior to his career change to archaeologist and museum professional Don had a very successful career in the electronics industry. He worked for the Hewlett Packard Company for 21 years in engineering, management, marketing, and sales. (Term 2 ends 2024)
