Utah State Parks 60th Anniversary Dinner & Dance

Jul 25, 2017, 6:30 pm

2017 is Utah State Parks' 60th anniversary! Come celebrate at Utah's first state park with a 1957-style dinner and dance. While you mingle with friends, visit a special one-night-only display of local restaurant memorabilia from the 1950s and read stories of people who worked in these iconic Fillmore diners. (Free but cash donations appreciated for the meal.)

This event accompanies the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibition, stopping in Fillmore from July 15 to September 9, 2017 at the President Millard Fillmore Library (7/15-8/11) and the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum (8/15-9/9). For more information, contact the Territorial Statehouse on 435.743.5316.

The Way We Worked, an exhibition created by the National Archives, is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum and the President Millard Fillmore Library.
