Hivemind Book Club Conversation with Renee Gladman & Catie Crabtree
Nov 4, 2017, 12:00 pm
Renee Gladman is an artist and writer preoccupied with lines, crossings, thresholds, geographies, and syntaxes as they play out in the interstices of poetry and fiction. She is the author of ten published works, including a cycle of novels about the city-state Ravicka and its inhabitants, the Ravickians, and Calamities, a collection of essays on writing.
Catie Crabtree is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Utah. She is the winner of the 2015 Academy of American Poets Larry Levis Prize. Her work has appeared in Phoebe, The Laurel Review, New Poetry from the Midwest, and elsewhere.
Hivemind is a city-wide book club that meets once a month to discuss a book by (and sometimes with) visiting writers of the University of Utah Creative Writing Program's Guest Writers Series.
This program is funded in part by a UH Competitive Grant.
