Washington County Works! Arts to Zion Showcase Special Exhibits
Sep 16–Nov 4, 2017, 10:00 am
Throughout 2017, we have been gearing up to welcome the Smithsonian to Washington County with monthly exhibits at the Arts to Zion Showcase/Gallery 35 in St George’s Downtown Historic District. New exhibits run from the first Friday of the month, with public receptions held during Georgefest/First Friday. For its fall show, the Dixie Watercolor Society is honoring the “Washington County Works!” and enjoy selections from Lynne Clark's collection of Southern Utah historical photographs.
Hours: Thursday-Saturday, 10am-7pm. Free admission.
This exhibit is part of Washington County Works!, a county-wide celebration of work that accompanies the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibition, stopping in Leeds from September 16 to November 4, 2017 at the Silver Reef Museum. For more information about Washington County Works! visit ArtsToZion.org. The Way We Worked, an exhibition created by the National Archives, is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, is touring in partnership with the Silver Reef Museum and Arts to Zion.
