Drop-In Family Art Activity: Making Clay Pots

Pottery is one of the world’s oldest art forms and making it is one of the oldest jobs. Come at your leisure to learn about pottery and try your hand at various pot-making techniques using air-dry clay. Free family activity conducted by the Education Curators from the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.

Note to Teachers: This event will also have "The Way We Worked" teacher resources for you to use in the classroom.

This event accompanies the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibition, stopping in Fillmore from July 15 to September 9, 2017 at the President Millard Fillmore Library (7/15-8/11) and the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum (8/15-9/9).
