Mountain View Mushrooms: A Fillmore Staple

Jul 15–Sep 9, 2017, 9:00 am

Mountain View Mushrooms has been a fixture in Fillmore since 1974. This melting pot in our community provides work for a diverse group of employees, not to mention 70% of the mushrooms in Utah (and Las Vegas). Come explore the many voices of the many workers who make up "Mountain View Mushrooms: A Fillmore Staple."

This exhibit accompanies the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibition, stopping in Fillmore from July 15 to September 9, 2017 at the President Millard Fillmore Library (7/15-8/11) and the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum (8/15-9/9). For more information, contact the Territorial Statehouse on 435.743.5316.

The Way We Worked, an exhibition created by the National Archives, is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum and the President Millard Fillmore Library.
