Carl Aldrich, a ranger at the Territorial Statehouse State Park, will present “Territorial Statehouse: Utah’s First State Park and Oldest Government Building” at the White Memorial Chapel at the Utah State Capitol (86 E 300 N, SLC, UT 84103).

Dr. Justina Parsons-Bernstein, Heritage and Interpretation Resources Manager, will present “Diamonds of Utah: Celebrating 60 Years of State Parks in Utah” at the White Memorial Chapel at the Utah State Capitol at the White Memorial Chapel.

Cicily Kind, a global specialist on the International Team at the Utah Office of Tourism, will present “The History of Tourism in Utah” at the White Memorial Chapel.

Holly Hansen of Family History Expos, Inc., will present “Visualizing Historical Boundaries: Overlay Historical Maps on Google Earth.” This event will be held at NOON at the Utah State Archives.
Friday, October 27, Noon
Dr. Susan S. Rugh, professor of history at Brigham Young University, will present “The Making of Modern Motels in Utah: How to Research the Recent Past." This event will take place at the Utah State Archives (346 South Rio Grande St, SLC, UT 84101).
